This, really wasn't what he'd been expected. Nervously a pale hand came up to swipe away a few loose strands of blond hair, brown eyes barely visible beneath the thin frames. No, this wasn't what he'd been expecting at all. Today, instead of the full line up of patients he'd been expecting he'd suddenly found himself with no more than three or four of them..As well as a very nervous looking clerk. "They were all transfered overnight? Why wasn't I given the paperwork before hand?" The clerk just shrugged, sending him an apologetically dismissive look before moving on the rest of his duties.
Sighing, straightening the wrinkled purple sweater he'd managed to dig out of the closet Aruk made his way slowly up the elevator and into the room where he'd receive one of the three patients lined up for today. It was, rather strange how they had all suddenly pulled out like that. What was stranger was the lack of paperwork. Even for a small psychiatric faction he should have had some warning. "What's going on?" He mumbled to himself stepping off the elevator before heading down the hall, suitcase in hand. The clerk had definitely knowns something, but what he couldn't really decide without the proper information. No one in this line of work handed out sympathy without good reason, especially not to him.. It was a wonder but right now he had more important things to take care of... Like helping out a few unfortunates who had ended up clinging to sanity in a place like this.
Maybe working here had taught him a few things. Being one of the few trained psychiatrists in the small building had really made him see the light. Really made him see how shitty the world was.. Maybe that's why he cared so much for the people here? Because he'd seen it all and knew how bad it could be? god he was sounding more and more morbid. Jerking his head to the side, dislodging another pesky strand of blond hair he eagerly fingered the ring in his ear before opening the door up into his usual room. Time for work. no more doddling!

The blonde female looked up as the door opened. She saw a blonde haired man stading there. 'great' she thought looking back down. she shoved her right hand in to her pocket and used the left one to push back some hair which fell back into her blue eyes. She sighed, "Lets get this over with." she said in a icy, dull tone as she looked back up at the man. How she loathed this place, this hellhole. She didn't need it but she supposed she'd have to go along with it to avoid suspisions of the police. It was a shame she was a horrible actor. She sighed looking out the window. She longed to be outside. She hated being inside...ok 'I have to pay attention' she thought and looked at the man. "I'm Kali Sakenta" she said flatly.

Biting into another piece or his cake, Vergil looked at his computer through his hair seeing that the series that murders all had something in common. They went to the same psychiatrist. Aruk . Maybe he was the cause as to why most of his patients died. 'I have to pay this psychiatrist a visit later on' he thought as he finished his piece of cake getting up and throwing hte plate in the trash. It could be possible they were very sudden. Walking back to the computer Vergil hacked into the permanant records and started to read Aruk's file. 'He doesn't seem dangerous, but those are the worst. As the saying goes never judge a book by its cover, dialing numbers he called a friend and told him to make an appointment to the pyshciatrist, giving them his alias. Clicking the phone Vergil made his way to the bed, flomping down on it thinking of what was to come.

Well, it wasn't as if he'd been expecting a warm welcome but still.. The way she looked over at him was just short of pure hate. Riiight. "Well, I'm Aruk and it's nice to meet you Kali." Grinning, he walked over, brushing off the cold disposition without a second thought. Sometimes, being cold was the only way to get past one's past. He'd seen it often enough. "Sorry I'm a little late. I ran into some trouble down at the head desk but that's another story." Coming to an abrupt halt he deposited the suitcase over by his chair, taking some extra time out to lean over and offer up a hand in greeting.
Really, he should have consulted her papers first. That way he would have known the proper way to greet her. Offering a hand was good and all but if she came from a different part of the world it could very well turn into an insult. something he'd really like to avoid. "Oh, I'm sorry. Would you rather be called Ms. Sakenta or just Kali? I haven't seen you around so I'm a little iffy on your preferences at the moment." Laughing he kept his hand outstretched, doing his best to keep up the warm atmosphere.
If there was one thing he'd learned it was how to keep everyone happy. People didn't want to come into a room that conveyed boredom, disinterest, or anything like that. Most people were looking for warmth, comfort, and a pleasant greeting. OK, maybe his didn't exactly fall into pleasant..more like 'Hyper' but that didn't really matter at the moment. "Anyway, I couldn't help but notice you looking outside. Are you a big fan of the outdoors? I m-" a sudden ring had him clamping his mouthy shut with an annoyed snap. "You know Kali, I may very well throw that phone out the window one of these days." Winking playfully he stood back up and jogged, yes he jogged, up to the phone which he quickly snatched. Depositing a few seconds later. "Well, at least this time i got some warning. Looks like there's someone coming up sooner or later. Anyway, would you like something to snack on before we begin? Or.." With a dramatic flourish he gestured towrds the outdoors, ignoring the way his earing bounced playfully in favor of turning back to Kali. "We can take our little session outside into the company garden? It's a little stuffy in here..?" Hopefully, he'd at least gain some brownie points for that one and ease away some of the tension.

Kali looked down at the hand she was offered, then back up at him, "Kali is just fine." she said looking up at him. Kali sighed as his phone rang. At least it would buy her some time for a moment. She could already see part of his character. He wouldn't be hard to get rid of either, if needed. He jogged towards the phone and answered it as Kali watched. HE came back. Another appointment perhaps? It didn't matter. "No i'm not hungry" she shook her head. He suggested going outside. Kali nodded and stood, "I'd like that." she said in monotone. She began to walk out of the room. Something felt off. THis man,Aruk he was different from the others. Maybe she would be able to use him. She'd just have to wait and see.

Deciding to stop being a lazy bum, he got himself off his bed and went to shower. Finishing his shower he walked out, with his now dripping hair, and got on a neon purple shirt and a black vest, with his cargo black pants. Getting the clean, not wet, towel from the side of the dresser he ruffled his hair into letting it become shaggy and put on his hat (idk what kind you can use your imagination for it it goes with his clothes thought >3). Finally getting ready he made his way out the door of his apartment and decided to go have a stroll outside.

Well, he'd done something right at least. While she wasn't exactly overjoyed Kali did seem rather open to the idea. So, with an ever permanate smile he snatched up the suitcase he'd so easily deposited a few moments ago. Following Kali up and out the door making sure neither of them got lost. It was small, but still confusing as heck in his opinion. not that any of the other employees gave two bits but.. Eh. Shaking his head carefully, he guided Kali down a flight of stairs. Waving to the one of the clerks as the headed for the back screen door and out into the company garden. It wasn't exactly private considering the open gate and low wall but it was nice. In fact, it had been open to the public for some time now and in the morning all kinds of people came by to drink coffee. So, at leas the atmosphere was calm and collected.
"Well, now that we are in a more comfortable location let's begin? Now, I know all your personal information is stashed away inside one of the folders here.." Delicately he tapped the suitcase with an open palm, choosing to sit down on a pale bench before continuing. "..But I'd rather here it from your own point of view. People tend to leave out the important details and emotions in these reports. So I think it would be better if you shared with me..?" Leaving it as question was the best he could do. forcing her to speak about something like this would only damage both of them. It would be better if she simply offered it up on her own.

Kali sat on a bench and sighed as a slight breeze hit her. She felt a little better out her. She listened to Aruk talk about nonsence and smirked a bit closing her eyes, "Tell me Aruk, have you ever seehn some one dead? Seen their bloody corpse on the floor? Or for that matter have you yourself ever felt as though you were going to die in the hand of your own flesh and blood?" She opened her eyes as she finished questioning him. Her dark blue eyes locked onto his waiting for the slightest hint of emotion. "If not you wouldn't even be able to begin to comprehend what I have endured." she said her eyes still locked onto him. She planned to make him snap maybe then she wouldn't have to deal with this.

Hands in his pockets and head down, he made his way to his favorite park just a few miles from the apartment. He looked up when he saw the builing he would be entering in a few days to see how this Aruk person worked and maybe finish this case quickly to get to the others. As he continued to walk Vergil saw the little garden the building had with two beings in it, one being Aruk and the other being a young female, a bit younger than him he thought as he looked at the two stoping for a moment. The way the girl looked at the psychiatrist, coldly, closed in. It reminded him of how he was, and still was. Shaking his head a few minutes later Vergil made his way, deciding to not go to the park today and get something cold to get his mind off of the past.

Carefully he listened, letting his smile faultier into a thoughtful expression. A test maybe? Was she actually trying to see if he could be trusted or did she honestly believe he couldn't understand..? It was hard to tell at this stage. "I..Have seen people dead. a lot of them actually. Sometimes when a patient is found I'm called directly to the seen the day an accident happens. It's rare, but it does happen so I know what death looks like and how it can effect people but no.. I've never had the misfortune to deal with a problem like that."
without hesitating he returned the gaze, determined not to fail at this for both of them. Carefully, he did his best to keep each emotion present. Letting none of them hide. "I'm very well aware that I can't physically, or emotionally, sit on the same level as you. but, that doesn't mean i can't try. Hate, fear, pain..All of that I have felt just like any other. so, on some level I may be able to understand what you are going through but only if you're willing to share it with me..?"
He couldn't force a confrontation, no matter how hard he tried it just wouldn't work that way. He could try, but it would only serve to push her further into the almost dreamlike, emotionless state she now found herself in. "I'll make you a deal. you tell me your version of the story and I'll see what I can come up with... I'll do my best to try and connect with you on this but if you think I'm not getting anywhere I'll personally sign the release form. you won't have to come back anymore if you don't think I'm doing a good enough job." you can't help those who don't want it.

Kali crossed her arms and looked down. She sighed, "Perhaps.." she said still having an icy cold tone. SHe opened her eyes and looked back up at him. "Your not like the others" she said smirking a bit though her eyes were still cold. "your much different." she noted. She looked up at the sky and sighed, "Alright Aruk, what would you like to know?" she asked. "About my mothers death or my father's?" she asked lookingat him she tilted her head a bit to the right.

Finally gettting his drink, cherry freezie, he exited the shop and decided to head back to the apartment for another sleepless boring night. Walking past an adult store he saw some teens eyeing the products from the window, with buldges in their pants looking slightly uncomfortable. "If you want something then just go in and get it" Vergil said emotionlessly getting annoyed by the little group that cirled the shop. The boys, jumping as they heard the voice, ran off holding their pants. Yawning he continued his way to the apartment.

----Time skip; end of Meeting---------------
It was understandable, for her to mistrust him like this. After all she'd been through could he really blame here? no. "Well, I'm not sure if I exactly passed or not but thank you, for at least talking about it with me and giving me a chance." Standing up he stretched, popping a few joints before glancing at were the sun had slowly began to sink. It had been a rather long day for the both of them and he still had a few people to see before it was over. It really didn't bother him though. Stifling a yawn he tore of the thin frames, shoving them into his pockets so he could rub furiously at his eyes.
The final judgment was up to her. either she came back or she didn't. either way he planned to honor the agreement between them. "It's not your fault you know. any of this. I know it sounds corny and a little cliche but that's the truth. Most of the things brought onto people in this world have nothing to do with them personally., it all lies with those who commit it and push the deed off on others." Sighing into he cool air he turned to offer her a hand up. "Well, it's getting late and I don't know about you but I suck at seeing in the dark.. Or the light for that matter. So, if you don't mind I'd rather go back inside now...?"

Kali nodded as she watched the sunset. "Well if you don't mind I need to get my skateboards and bag out of your office." she said looking up at him. The two began to walk inside and kali sighed. 'I'm more responcible tahn you may know.' she thought looking up at the man her eyes flashed ascarlet color.
